Subscription screens state cost, frequency, renewal and a way to continue without subscribing
The question On the subscription screens: are cost, billing frequency, automatic renewal and whether a subscription is required all shown without extra taps? Is the annual price not disguised as a monthly one? Is there a visible way to continue without subscribing? Does the subscription give sustained value rather than a one-time benefit?
A person or a model answers it from the app's texts and screens; the answer is kept only while the facts it saw are unchanged.

The rule, in our words
- Subscriptions: Subscriptions must be truthful and transparent: offer terms, cost, billing frequency, automatic renewal, whether a subscription is needed to use the app and other material facts must be shown without the user taking extra steps; subscriptions must give sustained or recurring value (one-time benefits such as lump-sum credits must be in-app products) and may not be reduced to a one-time offering after purchase; annual prices may not be shown mainly as a monthly figure; SKU names like "Free Trial" may not hide an auto-recurring charge; purchase flows may not lead users into accidental subscribe taps, and there must be a visible way to continue without subscribing; pricing and terms must be fully localised. Trials and introductory offers must state duration, price, what is included, how and when they convert to a paid subscription, the paid price, and how to cancel. The app must disclose how to manage or cancel and must give in-app access to an easy online cancellation method (for example a link to Google Play's Subscription Center in account settings); cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Okkok never stores the stores' text. Each item above is our paraphrase, and the link is the page it rests on, verified unchanged by fingerprint on every run.
The other store
- none on principle; Google also requires stating how to cancel. same
- Apple sets a 7-day minimum term and multi-device access; Google has no minimum term but demands in-app access to an easy online cancellation method, bans presenting annual prices mainly as monthly figures, bans "Free Trial" SKU names that hide recurring charges, requires a visible way to continue without subscribing, and requires fully localised pricing and terms. Both ban accidental subscription flows and bait-and-switch. partial
- see apple.arg.3.1 block; Apple allows auto-renewable subscriptions in any category, Google does not restrict by category either. partial
- none on disclosure content; Apple's rule is scoped to Apple Pay, Google's to Play subscriptions. same
