• Play Console Requirements: Complete every Play Console requirement with verifiable information: register as an organisation for financial, health, VPN or government apps; provide legal name, address, D-U-N-S number where applicable, contact details and payment profile; register the app's package names for developer verification, mandatory from 30 September 2026; and before submitting, provide all metadata, the privacy policy, the Data safety section and a working demo account with sign-in details.
• Preview: Play Console Requirements: Preview of the July 2026 Play Console requirements. To meet Android developer verification you must register your app package names in Play Console (effective September 30, 2026); most apps were registered automatically, but unregistered apps face global removal from Google Play. Developers must complete all Play Console requirements: choose the right account type (financial, health, VPN and government apps must register as an Organization), give accurate legal name, address, D-U-N-S number where applicable, contact details and payment profile, and keep them consistent with Dun & Bradstreet. Before submitting, provide accurate app metadata, a privacy policy and completed Data safety section, and a working demo account and any login resources reviewers need. Developer accounts may only change hands through the official account transfer process.
